Be sure to visit the whole of our site. Learn how you can volunteer, read some wish stories, and view a few pictures of our special kids.
Founded by Dr. Jerry Clark, our chapter was chartered in 1985. We were originally called the Charlotte Clark Chapter in honor Dr. Clarks' first wife, whom he lost to cancer. We cover the state from Burlington (Alamance County) through the 51 counties to the west. We maintain offices in Asheville, Charlotte & Greensboro.
We were officially incorporated as a nonprofit 501(c)(3) in 1985. Our tax identification number is 56-1492432. Our chapter has never turned down an eligible wish. Right now the average wish cost is $6,000.00 including in-kind donations.
We are entirely responsible for raising the funds for every wish in our territory, as well as for fund raising and management costs.
You're welcome to visit our fundraising pages to learn more about our sponsors and ways you can donate.
